Fe Mini Alloying Tablet

BMet Logo.png

Aluminum's mechanical and physical properties are enhanced with the use of alloying elements. Tabletted additives can be used as master alloys to produce aluminium alloys.  They provide an efficient and economic way of making elemental additions of iron in casthouses world-wide for the manufacture of high-quality aluminium alloys.

Fe mini-tablet comprises of high purity sponge iron powder and suitable fluxes. When added to molten aluminium between 720 - 750°C increases its degree of hardness and mechanical resistance.

Our tablet particle size is optimum for dissolution. In addition, less inclusions are formed due to the purity of the compacted iron powder and smaller size compared to generic tablets, making them being better than that of large iron master alloy tablets.
